NOTE: When I first built this page in 1995, there were few pages about Atlanta. Now, among the plethora of other Atlanta pages, I see that Yahoo has finally gotten around to producing an Atlanta page.
I can't hope to compete with that -- they've got a paid staff, after all. And I can't hope to keep up with changing and disappearing links. So rather than try to make this page comprehensive, I've cut it down to my favorites.
Web pages
- The Atlanta Beer Guide. A great guide to Atlanta's best restaurant, pub, and package sources for specialty beers. Also has a section for local microbreweries and brewpubs.
- The Carter Center
- Michael C. Carlos Museum - on the Emory University campus. The largest museum of art and archaeology south of the Smithsonian, I'm told. Excellent Egyptian collection.
- Zoo Atlanta
- Access Atlanta -- Cox Communications' news site (WBS TV and radio, and the Atlanta Journal/Constitution)
- WNNX-FM (99X) Modern Rock
- WREK 91.1 FM Campus radio at Georgia Tech.
